Numbering conventions

Writer's share and publisher's share are two parallel 100% ledgers — not two halves of one pie.
This sheet records composition splits. Master ownership is a separate arrangement, handled on the label side.
ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, and GMR each issue IPI numbers on affiliation. Every writer needs one; if you don't have yours to hand, you can generate the sheet now and add IPIs before you sign.
